Ambassador Committee

Members of the Ambassador Committee serve as liaisons between members and the Chamber staff, assisting with introductions at networking events and a number of other duties. Some of those ongoing duties include periodically checking in with Chamber members to provide assistance and hear concerns, assisting with Coastline Magazine delivery each year, and providing logistical help at special events like the annual B2B expo, holiday auction and annual dinner.

The Ambassador Committee meets on location one hour before the monthly Business After Hours every other month.

Bi-Monthly Meetings

In our effort to try to become a more strategic group we have decided to meet as a group every other month.

Business After hours

Usually the 4^th Thursday of each month. Ambassadors are asked to attend and to arrive at 4:45 p.m.to be available to greet incoming guests. Ambassadors are needed for checking in, passing of drink tickets, greeting and handholding of new members.

New Membership Orientation

Orientations are held b-monthly - Meetings are at 8:30 a.m. in the Chamber's conference room. I will send out a reminder prior to the meeting and ask for an Ambassador to come and attend the meetings. The Ambassador should arrive at 8:10 to be available to greet the members as they arrive. The meetings are usually finished before 10 a.m.

Breakfast Forums

Breakfast Forums are held from 7:30-9 a.m. the third Wednesday of the month, however, due to speaker schedules this does change occasionally, so check the Chamber website for firm times and dates. Ambassadors are asked to attend if possible (realizing some business restrictions occur) Please try to arrive at 7:15 a.m. for checking in guests. Ambassadors are needed for checking and greeting.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

I will notify the group of upcoming ribbon cutting events via email. Please try to come to the event to show support for the new company. Normal ceremony is only approx. 45 min. I realize that some business commitments will not allow people to attend.
