Responsibilities: Print and Web-based advertising and marketing initiatives, public relations and special events. Directly assisting the innkeeper in all facets of running this family business.

How long at present company: Off and on…15 years

How long as an ambassador: Just over one year.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee: Being an active member of the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce is a legacy here at the York Harbor Inn. When a past YHI employee had to give up her responsibilities to concentrate more on her family, I was offered the opportunity to become involved. I am so happy to have the chance to not only get involved in the Seacoast Business Community but to directly and indirectly assist other individuals and businesses in their overall success.

What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador (member drive, Coastline Distribution, etc.) In the past (and hopefully the future), I have been a part of the Holiday Auction and Annual Dinner committees.

What contributions to the Chamber do you feel most proud of: I am so proud just to be able to take an active role in all the Chamber has to offer. From attending Breakfast Forums, Business After Hours, and Mid-Day Meets. I really appreciate the fact that the Chamber is there for me!

How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership: As the old saying goes: "You only get out of it what you put in…" I believe that in order to support the Chamber Staff that is working so hard to help my business grow, it is only right that I become an active member and not a passive one. I support the Chamber by assisting where ever possible. From committees to making simple phone calls, I feel that it is up to each member to make this Chamber work for them.
